
MOULTRIE – Officials are investigating the death of a man who was electrocuted Wednesday morning at a Georgia Power substation in Moultrie.
The name of the man has not been released, but his body was found within a fenced-in high voltage area at a substation near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and 3rd Avenue NW. Police and emergency service were called to the scene around 2 a.m.
Investigators are trying to determine exactly why the man scaled the fence and what led to the electrocution.
