ATLANTA – A lucky woman from Lakeland has won a monumental prize from the Georgia Lottery.
Tammy Radabaugh, 52, matched all six numbers from the April 7 Jumbo Bucks Lotto drawing, winning the $3.9 million jackpot prize.
Winning numbers from the April 7 drawing were: 14-15-31-36-38-44.
Bulldogs #2, 14 W. Main St. in Lakeland, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
“I was taking my granddaughter to karate practice and decided to buy a ticket,” Radabaugh said.
She checked the results of the drawing on the Georgia Lottery’s website.
“I had heart palpitations for a moment,” the lucky winner said. “I couldn’t fathom that amount.”
Radabaugh and her husband, William, have three adult children and eight grandchildren.
Feeling great over her windfall, Radabaugh anticipates building a new home for her family.
“And, I’ll buy more toys for my granddaughter,” she added.
Jumbo Bucks Lotto is a Georgia Lottery jackpot game available only in Georgia. Drawings are held every Monday and Thursday.
Tickets are $1 per play.
Thursday’s jackpot is $1.1 million.
