MARIETTA, Ga. – A judge has released five people from the pool of 250 potential jurors who could be asked to decide the fate of a Georgia man accused of intentionally leaving his toddler son to die in a hot SUV.
WAGA-TV reports one of the reasons the judge released the jurors Friday was because of bias against the defendant. One juror had a language barrier and spoke Portuguese.
Thirty-five-year-old Justin Ross Harris faces charges including murder in the June 2014 death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper.
