MOULTRIE – Nineteen people have been arrested and authorities have seized drugs and guns as part of a multi-agency operation in south Georgia.
The Moultrie Police Department, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation and other agencies conducted Operation Safe Streets in Colquitt County Thursday.
According to officials, the multi-agency operation led to the arrest of 19 people and the seizure of 5 firearms and various illegal narcotics including methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
