Seven more, including six teens, arrested in Moultrie shooting death

MOULTRIE – Seven more people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Fatisha Clark.

Investigators do not believe Clark was the intended target, but she was struck when gunfire broke out March 6 at the Ryce Community Center. She later died of her wounds.

Jaquan Willis, 16, a Colquitt County High School student and football player, was arrested and charged with Clark’s murder on Tuesday.

While investigators have not released why they believe Willis opened fire, the incident occurred after a fight broke out in the community center parking lot.

On Thursday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Alden Roberts, Jr., 24, Ja’Michael Simpson, 17, Billy Rushing, 17, and four juveniles in connection with the shooting, reports WALB.

Roberts was charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and false statements and writing, reports stated.

Simpson, Rushing and three of the juveniles where charges with fighting, reports stated.

The fourth juvenile was charged with fighting and aggravated assault for allegedly pointing a gun at another juvenile before the fight.
