Grady County law enforcement officers arrested 29 year old Sabel White and charged him with multiple violations. White was driving with six passengers in her vehicle-all children when she crashed and rolled over. All persons inside suffered injuries and two of the children had to be airlifted to a hospital but were listed in stable condition. Her charges include DUI and driving without a license along with two felonies.

South Georgians are ready for GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s visit to Valdosta. He is set to speak at the athletic complex at Valdosta State University on Monday, just one day before Georgia voters take to the polls for the presidential primary.

Congratulations go out today to Ann-Alyse Kebler, the Lowndes High School senior has been named the winner of the 2016 Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship from the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. The award comes from the honor society for high school students studying Spanish or Portuguese who show dedication and mastery of the languages. Only 60 students in the nation participating in 2,400 chapters are awarded the $1,000 scholarship.

36 year old Rodney Barber of Norman Park lost his life in a tragic weekend accident in Cook County. According to reports from Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol, Barber was headed west on Highway 76 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and flipped the vehicle multiple times. He was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident. A passenger 34 year old Ashley Hughes was wearing a safety restraint and received no major injuries. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
