MOULTRIE – The brother of a shooting victim has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with one of two shootings that occurred Tuesday in Moultrie.

Donterrius Williams, 23, has been charged with the murder of Ryshaun Montay Bigelow, 23.

Bigelow was shot and killed at the intersection of First Avenue and Seventh Street Southwest at about 3:10 p.m., reports The Moultrie Observer.

Less than an hour later, Williams’ brother, Darian Williams, 25, was shot and injured nearby in the 100 block of Fourth Street. Darian is in stable condition at a hospital in Macon.

Officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are continuing to investigate the shootings and have not said if the incidents are related, reports WALB.
