THOMASVILLE – A good Samaritan was stabbed after breaking up a domestic dispute in Thomasville Friday night, and authorities are searching for the suspect.
Shortly after midnight, a passerby reportedly saw a man and his girlfriend involved in a physical altercation at Webster Street and Walters Lane. The passerby broke up the dispute and walked with the woman to her home.
Shortly after, the woman’s boyfriend came to the home and asked who broke up the fight. He then located the good Samaritan at a nearby residence and stabbed him in the side. The victim ran and was stabbed a second time down the road.
The victim was taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital for treatment and is recovering.
