ATLANTA, GA – The Georgia Department of Driver Services is reminding motorist to check their licenses and see if they expire this year.

Drivers should plan ahead and avoid waiting until the last minute. Motorists looking to renew their license are asked to bring a birth certificate or passport, a social security card, and two documents showing a residential address.

Department officials say Georgia licenses may be renewed up to 150 days before the expiration date.
