MIAMI, FL- Wildlife officials in Florida say a man tried trading a live alligator for beer at a Miami convenience store.
The man received a citation for illegally capturing and trying to sell the alligator. Jorge Pino, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman, said the man trapped the alligator in a nearby park. The gator was 4 foot long, and was returned back into the wild. Needless to say, the man did not get his 12 pack of beer he had hoped to get from the convenience store.
