ATLANTA, GA – The Georgia Public Service commission is asking consumers to begin preparation for winter weather. Officials said Tuesday, October 22nd, the natural gas prices will roughly be the same as last year, and consumers have various options to lessen the economic blow of winter weather. Commission spokesman Bill Edge says consumers should look into budget billing options, and for those on fixed incomes to enroll in the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program through the state Department of Human Services.
