LEESBURG, GA — Authorities in Lee County are searching for a gunman that shot a county deputy’s car late Monday night. While officials were investigating a shooting that occurred earlier in the afternoon, shots were fired a few streets over.

One bullet hole was found in the rear of the deputy’s vehicle. The deputy was not injured, and officials believe the two shootings are related.
