Complaints and tips from nearby residents led to Thomasville Police arresting one woman in a meth lab bust this week. Police went to the home on Vernon Lane Wednesday and said they immediately smelled a strong chemical odor as they approached the trailer.

Investigators on scene found a large quantity of meth in a walk-in closet in addition to what they called a active meth lab. 26-year old Amanda Block claimed the drugs were ‘left there by someone else.’

Block now faces charges of manufacturing meth and possession of meth with intent to distribute. She was taken to the Thomas County Jail and is now free on bond.
