Georgia receives grant to help unemployment insurance program

unemployment-america-genericThe state of Georgia is the recipient of more than $1.6 million dollars of federal grant money meant to aid the states unemployment insurance program. Federal officials say the grant is part of more than $176 million being appropriated nationwide and is designed to continue improving investigation into unemployment insurance fraud. The grant will also boost other system programs.
