The trial of a Coolidge man accused in a November murder begins Monday inside a Colquitt County courtroom. 20-year old Alphonso Moore allegedly kidnapped and killed Dominga Trejo on November 9th of last year.
Investigators say the 20-year old kidnapped the woman at the Quik Mart on Hwy. 133 South, then killed her in a robbery attempt gone bad before dumping the body near a mobile home park nearby.
Moore is charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and multiple counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Read more from the Moultrie Observer here.
