A 33-year old Moultrie remains in a medically-induced coma following a severe beating earlier this week. Police were called to a home in the 500 block of Northside Drive around 2:30 Monday morning and found Linda Kriegbaum unresponsive in the yard.

Investigators say they have a motive for the assault, but will not release what exactly it is. Their person of interest in the case is 30-year old Iva Worthy, Jr. of Camilla.

Worthy is not considered a suspect in the case, but investigators say they simply need to ‘talk to him’ about the Monday assault.
