A Coffee County man has died following a jet ski accident on a private lake Sunday night. Police were called to the home on Dr. Denton Road around 7 Sunday night after a report of a possible drowning.

The victim, Gregory Scott Burch, allegedly hopped on a jet ski with a friend. Both fell off the vessel, causing Burch to be stuck in the water. Officials say the man did not know how to swim and was not wearing a lifejacket while on the jet ski.
