VALDOSTA — Commercial Banking Company CEO Ryan Warren has been elected to the Georgia Bankers Association board of directors.

ATLANTA – Ryan Warren, president and CEO, Commercial Banking Company, Valdosta, has been elected by his peers in South Georgia serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the Georgia Bankers Association (GBA). He will also serve as the Community Bankers Committee representative, as he’s chairing the committee this year.
“Ryan brings a track record of leadership, a deep understanding of community banking and a genuine commitment to serving his community that will be an asset to our board,” said Susan V. Moss, GBA chairman and president and CEO, Planters & Citizens Bank, Camilla. “His experience and perspective will help guide the association’s efforts to support banks across the state.”
A native of Early County, Warren began his banking career in 1998 with Park Avenue Bank in Valdosta, where he advanced from lender to branch manager and assistant vice president. In 2002, he joined First Federal Savings of Valdosta, serving as assistant vice president and lender before being promoted to vice president, lender and chief credit administration officer. In 2015, he joined Commercial Banking Company in Valdosta as senior vice president and chief retail officer, later serving as chief lending officer before being named president and CEO in 2021.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Valdosta State University’s Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business and is a graduate of the Georgia Banking School.
In his community, Warren served more than two decades on the board of Georgia Christian School, including nine terms as chairman. He also chaired the school’s long-running benefit dinner. Additional community service includes past membership on the Lowndes County Planning Commission, long-term leadership with the Lake Park Chamber of Commerce and involvement with United Way. He is an elder at Airport Church of Christ, where he previously served as a deacon.
