LOWNDES CO – The Lowndes Viking baseball team will advance to the semi finals of the 2025 GHSA State Baseball Playoffs.

With a 2 game sweep of the Brookwood High Broncos, our Vikings have advanced to the semi finals of the 2025 GHSA State Baseball Playoffs.  On Tuesday, May 13, we will host the Etowah High Eagles on Noel George Field.  With a record of 34-2 the Eagles are currently ranked #1 in Georgia and they are the #9 team in the nation per MaxPreps.   

First pitch is set for 4:30 pm Tuesday at Noel George Field on the Lowndes High Campus.  The ‘if necessary’ game will be Wednesday May 14, at 4:30 pm.  Tickets for Tuesday’s doubleheader will be $12 each and all fans entering, except babies in arms, must have a ticket.  Tickets will be available at the gate for cash or can be purchased online via GoFan.

All Lowndes facilities are clear bag facilities.  Gates will open one hour prior to the first pitch.
