LOWNDES CO – The Vikings will host the Hurricanes on Friday during military appreciation night, Pink Out, and 8th grade band night.

Our Vikings continued their winning ways with a 46-13 victory over Central Gwinnett this past Friday night. Lowndes (3-0) will host the Manatee High School Hurricanes on Friday, September 6. Manatee (2-0) is currently the 7th ranked team in Florida’s Class 5A. Kickoff is set for 8:00 pm on Joe Wilson Field at Martin Stadium.
This will be military appreciation night and all active duty and retired military personnel will be recognized. Active duty and retired military personnel, their companion, and all school age children will be admitted free on the visitor side of the stadium. To enter, they will simply need to visit the pass table on the visitor side and show their ID to receive their tickets the night of the game.
The 8th grade band students will perform with the Bridgemen as we also celebrate 8th grade band night. The middle school students will march down and enter with the band as they perform the pre-game show.
September is the official fall sports “Cancer Awareness Month” in the Georgia High School Association. Friday September 6 we encourage our fans to wear PINK to help fight all types of this dreaded disease. Pink shirts will be available at the ticket office during the week.
Individual game tickets are available the week of the game. Reserve seat game tickets for Manatee will be available for $10 each. Individual game tickets are available on both sides of the stadium and can be purchased from the Viking Athletic Ticket Office. All tickets at the gate are $12 each.
In keeping with GHSA policies, all fans, except babies in arms, must have a ticket. Martin stadium has a clear bag policy for all fans entering the stadium. All middle and elementary students entering the stadium will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. These students will need to sit with a parent or guardian.
The athletic ticket office is located in the Board of Education building on Norman Drive. The entrance is on the east end across from Goo Goo Car Wash. Ticket office hours are Tuesday – Thursday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm and Friday 9:00 am till 1:00 pm.
