VALDOSTA – The OCS GA will honor Georgia military-bound high school seniors at a local ceremony in Valdosta.

Release:

Military and Community Leaders to address over 100 people at the Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta.

Who: This celebration is for enlisting High School Seniors, their Families, their Recruiters and their Influencers

Where: Rainwater Conference Center, 1 Meeting Place, Valdosta GA 31601

When: 1:00-2:30 PM

Why: Our Community Salutes GA recognizes and honors GA High School Seniors enlisting in Military Service. We celebrate these young Heroes and their Families in their commitment for service to our Nation and our Military.

Our amazing speakers are Speakers are CMDR. Trimble (USN) and Senior Chief (ret) Sheldon Willis (USN)

Each Enlistee will be presented an Our Community Salutes Challenge Coin, a Certificate of Honor and a Why We Take the Oath Pocket Constitution.

We encourage GA Enlistees, Families, Recruiters, Counselors and Influencers to register for this Celebration as soon as possible but no later than April 22, 2024. Register at https://community.ocsusa.org/valdosta/

There is no cost to the recruits, or their quests. Many local businesses, as well as Fraternal, and Veterans organizations are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of these young men, and women’s commitment to serve our country.
