VALDOSTA – The community is invited to a Sickle Cell Awareness Event at the VSU University Center Theatre with special guest speakers.

Join us on Tuesday, March 26th, at 6:00 pm at a Sickle Cell Awareness Event in the VSU University Center Theatre. Guest speakers will be ShaRhonda Statum – Sickle Cell Survivor, VSU Alumni, AKA Member who will speak on her experience with the disease and how blood donors may have impacted her, and Mariah Carter, Red Cross Sickle Cell Account Manager who will discuss the importance of African American blood donation.
