LOWNDES CO. – Both Viking basketball teams will travel to Covington Wednesday to face the Newton Rams in the first round of play.

Both of our Viking Basketball teams have advanced to the state playoffs. Tonight – Wednesday – our boys will travel to Covington, Georgia to take on the Newton Rams in the first round of play. Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm at Newton High School. Tickets are available via GoFan.
Our girls were victorious last night in their first round game with Brookwood High School. With a 52-42 victory the Vikettes have advanced to the second round of the state playoffs. They will host Carrollton High School on Friday, February 23. Tipoff will be at 5:30 pm in the Crimson Coliseum at Lowndes High.
Carrollton is currently ranked 10th in the state by MaxPreps with our Viking are ranked 15th. Tickets are $7 each and are available at the gate (cash) or online via GoFan.
