Release:

This afternoon, investigators with the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 4878 Bemiss Road which resulted in the arrest of Ivanson Davis for the offense of Murder.  Davis had been sought for some time after warrants were issued by Valdosta Police Department detectives.  Information was learned and through a joint effort between the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Valdosta Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was obtained and executed this afternoon.  Ivanson Davis was arrested without any issues and will be housed in the Lowndes County Jail.
