According to a post on the ‘Valdosta, A City Without Limits‘ Facebook page, the City of Valdosta have been notified about a lawsuit against the Valdosta Police Department in regards to an incident that happened in February.

The City Attorney has been served with a copy of the lawsuit, but according to the post, the city has, “not had time to review the document and therefore cannot comment on the content of the suit.”

However, police body camera footage from the February 8 incident was linked with the City’s post that also said that they are, “fully committed to transparency.”
