On Sunday, February 23, 2020, the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 725 Collier St. The call was received from dispatch at 3:15 A.M.

The first fire unit arrived within five minutes and reported the structure to be fully involved.  Fire crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes and continued working several hours to ensure the scene was safe.
There were no occupants at the home when fire units arrived. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
