VALDOSTA, Ga. – On February 3, 2020, at approximately 1:18 p.m., patrol officers, detectives, and crime scene personnel with Valdosta Police Department responded to a business in the 100 block of Northside Drive, in reference to an armed robbery.

An unknown African American male entered the business with a handgun and demanded an undisclosed amount of currency.  Detectives believe the offender fled on foot from the area. A K-9 responded to the area and searched for the suspect but was not able to locate him. There were no injuries reported during this incident.

This case is actively under investigation.
