VALDOSTA, Ga. – Caityln Carter, a junior at Valdosta High School, has been chosen to be one of the 100 students from across the nation to participate in the 2020 Disney Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and Essence magazine.

Each spring Disney chooses 100 young people to embark on a 4-day, all-expense-paid event where they are mentored, attend career workshops, develop skills and network.

The list of mentors for the 2020 class includes Terrence J. of E! News, Yolanda Adams, Stephen A. Smith, ESSENCE Magazine’s Editor-at-Large Mikki Taylor and a list of others.
