VALDOSTA, Ga. – Former Valdosta football player, Zakoby McClain, played in the 84th Iron Bowl with Auburn against Alabama. Auburn took home the game with a 48-45 win this past Saturday.

McClain was able to help secure the 37-31 lead midway through the third quarter with a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown, marking his first career interception.

Valdosta High School made a heartfelt Instagram post letting McClain know that they’re cheering from his hometown.
