LOWNDES CO., Ga. – On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, a man was captured after being tracked by a K9 from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office around 4:20 p.m.
Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk said that the man was a probationer attempting to flee.

“It was over there by the Boys and Girls Club. They got the dogs after him and caught him hiding up underneath a house,” Sheriff Paulk said. “I do not know his name, but he was a man wearing a bright blue shirt.”

A witness on Adair Street saw the man run through the yard in the neighborhood and sheriff’s deputies and K9 present.
The name of the man is not yet known.
