COOK COUNTY, Ga. – Caleb Day, one of three to be charged in the July 30, 2018 murder of Eldorado store owner Akhtar “Oscar” Perveez, could be facing the death penalty if convicted.
Perveez was found dead inside the Eldorado Food Mart located on Highway 41 South.
Day, along with his cousin Nathanial Day, and Alexis McCrary, were indicted in 2018 for malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony.
