THOMASVILLE, GA  – Thomasville Police Captain Maurice Holmes says crimes rates decreased almost immediately after arresting several street gang members – three juveniles and one adult, Markevious Samuel.

The four were arrested for car break-ins and burglaries, which officials believe contribute to the sharp increase in the last year. Over the summer there were 35 car break-ins and a hundred over the course of a year.
