City of Valdosta Press Release:

The Valdosta Fire Department has completed its investigation of the fatal structure fire on July 14, at 523 Sustella Avenue. The fire appears to be electrical in origin and is listed as accidental. The fire claimed the lives of David Washington and Reggie McCloud, both of Valdosta. No further updated information has been received on the critical patient who was flown to the Augusta Burn Center.
