MOULTRIE, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has made an arrest in the case of an infant death.
Two-month-old Zoee Martin was originally admitted to Colquitt Regional Medical Center before being transported to Navicent Medical Center in Macon, and died from her injuries on Sunday.
An autopsy, performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon, found blunt force trauma to her head and body.
On Monday, the GBI arrested 17-year-old Cedric Martin, Jr., the father of Zoee, and charged him with felony murder and cruelty to children in the first degree.
