VALDOSTA – Some South Georgia kids are still looking to learn, even while on Spring Break.
Monday kicked off Valdosta State University’s Camp Discovery.
All week, kids are working hard and playing hard.
The school hosts the program every year with a selection of different classes, like Magical Science and Awesome Artists.
In Magical Science, kids explore electricity, volcanoes, and much more.
“This morning he was already asking what’s that made of? He’s literally in that stage where he wants to know the make up of things, so I’m excited for him to learn a little more,” says Heather Washington, dropping off her 7-year-old son.
Parents say they love the program because it gets their kids off the couch and out having fun.
All classes are for kids ages kindergarten through fifth grade.
