VALDOSTA – Lowndes County High School will host a Relay for Life event on May 5.

A Cancer Survivor’s Reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Chick-Fil-A. The relay will begin at 7 p.m.

“This is an evening for the Lowndes County community to come out and celebrate our cancer survivors and honor the ones that have passed on,” said Derenda Sizemore, Survivor Chair, Relay for Life of Lowndes County.
