LOWNDES Co. – After a night of monitoring storms, Lowndes County’s Emergency Management Agency director woke up to find that his personal truck, along with two firearms, had been stolen from his driveway.

EMA Director Ashley Tye reportedly left an extra set of keys in his unlocked government vehicle which was parked next to his personal vehicle. Sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, those keys were taken, and his personal vehicle was stolen. Nothing was reported stolen from the government vehicle.
