VALDOSTA – Funeral arrangements have been made for Lowndes County Deputy Michael Butler.
Deputy Butler, 39, was killed in a crash on Saturday while responding to a call.
Funeral services for Butler will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at Morningside Baptist Church, followed by a burial at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 – 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations may be made to a college fund for Chris’s twin daughters. Funds should be designated for Ella Grace and Emma Butler, C/O Commercial Banking Company P.O. Box 100 Valdosta, GA 31603.
