Hahira’s Church Street Cafe reopens after fire

HAHIRA – A Hahira restaurant devastated by fire has been restored and reopened.

Church Street Cafe at 107 South Church St. was heavily damaged when it was engulfed in flames in September, but thanks to hard work and a few fundraisers, the cafe is once again open for business.

The restaurant looks a little different than it did before the fire, but owner Josh Owens said he tried to keep the “traditional things in but bring a little new, fresh, clean feel.”

Church Street Cafe is open Tuesday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
