GAINSEVILLE – Gainesville attorney Ashley Bell, a Valdosta State University alum, has joined President-elect Donald Trump’s the transition team.

Bell was hired as a senior strategist for the Republican National Committee during the campaign. He now joins a team charged with appointing foreign diplomats at the U.S. Department of State.

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to serve,” Bell told The Gainesville Times.
