
VALDOSTA – The Georgia State Patrol says two people were killed in a crash on I-75 in Lowndes County overnight.
According to troopers, multiple vehicles were involved in a crash near Exit 2 on I-75. All three southbound lanes of the highway are closed as of 6 a.m. Tuesday.
It’s not known when the lanes will reopen.
GSP says troopers will be investigating the scene for several hours still, and urge motorists to avoid the area if possible as the ongoing investigation into the crash will cause congestion.
The victims of the crash have not been identified and it’s unknown if there were any other injuries. No other details are available at this time.
