Release from Lowndes County Schools
VALDOSTA – Moulton-Branch Elementary School celebrated Grandparents’ Day by inviting grandparents to school for a writing activity.
We are excited to announce we had over 200 grandparents to show up for this event. Students interviewed their grandparents and wrote narratives based on the information they gathered from their grandparents during the interview phrase.
Not only did this event help our students become better writers; it also allowed grandparents to spend quality time with their grandchildren in the classroom setting.
