VALDOSTA – For the second time this year, all local job seekers are invited to the Valdosta-Lowndes Community Job Fair, hosted by the Goodwill Career Center & Epic Advertising.
Open positions include quality control techs, production operators, correctional officers, graphic designers and more. Base salaries range from $9.25 to $15.54 an hour. Organizers say they expect hundreds of people looking for work to take advantage of the free resources.
The free event provides access to a vast spectrum of employment and career opportunities in the Valdosta-Lowndes area. The Fair is based on a direct contact recruitment approach focusing exclusively on real encounters between recruiters and candidates. Employers can still register until Monday, Oct. 31.
The Goodwill Career Center in Valdosta carries out the Goodwill mission of connecting people to job opportunities. Clients at the career center have access to free services including résumé help, soft skills training, interviewing tips and more, as well as our free career fairs and recruitment events with local employers. Goodwill’s free career services are made possible by the sale of donated goods in our retail stores.
