VALDOSTA – Three weeks ago, Valdosta Police Department Officer Randall Hancock was shot three times while responding to a call from an individual who allegedly planned to ambush an officer in a “suicide-by-cop” attempt.

Hancock has since been released form the hospital, and in this report from WALB describes he the gunfire exchange between himself and the man arrested for the shooting, Stephen Beck.
