VALDOSTA — The runoff election for the Democratic nominee in the Lowndes County coroner race remains undecided.

Provisional ballots, which are expected to be counted Friday, will determine the winner of Tuesday’s primary runoff election between Brad Carter and John Hogan.

The winner will face Republican Austin Fiveash in November.
