Autopsy reports from the GBI lab in Macon on the three people that perished in an Albany Airport plane crash states that they died as the result of blunt force trauma. Though the planes fuel burned there was no fire or smoke effect mentioned in the report. The passengers Britt Knight, Brittany Kerfoot, and Kevin Coalson were ejected from the plane.

There will be no stay of execution for 72 year old death row inmate Brandon Jones. In a 5 to 2 decision the Georgia Supreme Court denied his request for clemency. If the execution is carried out Brandon Jones will become the oldest person executed in the state of Georgia. His execution is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. tonight at the State Prison in Jackson.

Arrests were made during protests at the University of Georgia in Athens; while a similar protest at Georgia State University in Atlanta. The demonstrations came after a Georgia Supreme Court decision against several people brought into the country illegally as children who were seeking in-state tuition.
