VALDOSTA – Valdosta resident complaints this week led to three arrests in two separate drugs busts involving crack cocaine and Flakka.
On Tuesday, the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit investigated complaints of illegal narcotics activity in the area of Gainer Street, said VPD Lt. Kari Williams.
“During their investigation, they recovered $510 worth of crack cocaine,” Williams said.
The investigation led to the arrest of Willie Hill, 38, and Herbert Nesmith, 37, in the 200 block of Chandler Street, reports stated.
Hill was charged with sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and tampering with evidence. Nesmith was charged with party to the crime of the sale of cocaine. Both men were taken to the Lowndes County Jail, Williams said.
Also on Tuesday, VPD narcotics detectives investigated complaints of drug activity in the area of Langdale Drive.
“During their investigation, they recovered approximately $100 worth of Alpha-PVP,” Williams said.
The investigation led to the arrest of James Jenrette, 18, in the 1100 block of Langdale Drive. Jenrette was charged with sale of Alpha-PVP, which is also known as Flakka. Jenrette was taken to the Lowndes County Jail, Williams said.
