VALDOSTA – Valdosta Middle School drama students attended Valdosta State University’s performance of Handel’s opera “Acis and Galatea.”

VMS drama teacher, Mrs. Jarvis escorted 50 of her seventh grade students to the special youth performance during the day on January 22. The stage director explained to students how an opera works and was available after the performance along with singers and the orchestra director to answer questions. Thank you to Dr. Paoletti of the VSU Music Department for the invitation to attend. The VMS students loved it!
