LAKELAND – This month, second grade students at Lanier County Primary School studied famous civil rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Among learning about the ways he fought for civil rights, we also learned about timelines. As away to make self-connections, students participated in at at-home project that allowed them to create their own timeline. Students shared their timelines to the class.

This project encourages parents and their children to work together. We appreciate all the participation and a special thanks goes to the parents who helped make this project successful.
