VALDOSTA – In an exclusive WVGA interview, Brian Bell sat down with Chris Beckham to discuss his football career at Lowndes High School, his first season at the University of Akron and the continued controversy that surrounds him due to his rumored involvement in the death of Kendrick Johnson.

In part one of the interview, Bell recalls what it was like to have a scholarship offer from Florida State University rescinded.

In part two, Bell describes the morning U.S. Marshals raided his dorm room.
“I had no problem giving them my phone. I have nothing to hide,” Bell said.

In the last segment of the interview, Bell’s lawyer said he is “unaware” of a current investigation of his client in connection with the Johnson case.
“It has been communicated to me at the federal level that Brian has been cleared by the FBI,” said Jason Ferguson, Bell’s lawyer.
